High School Surfing - 2009
Surfing continues to be a well supported sport at St Henry’s. We have a regular core of surfers on a Friday afternoon that join us rain, shine, SW or NE.
Our surfing team, which have yet to have inter-school fixtures this year, have been very generously sponsored by Jean-Marc Tostee’s Surf HQ. Surf HQ is a well resourced surf shop at the corner of Brickhill Road and Hunter Street.
Surfers and aspirant surfers will miss the expertise and enthusiasm of Mr Mark Godfrey whose leaving of the school saw the end of early morning surfing sessions.
Pupils interested in surfing are encouraged to join their school mates and wash away the school work and surf in the weekend every Friday afternoon with a surf session
