The parents play a very important part in the successful operation of St Henry’s and a very energetic Parents’ Association exists in the School.
Parents are encouraged to take an active interest in the Association and to support the social functions and fund-raising schemes which the committee organises. The first function each year is a Tea Party for the parents of new pupils at which the parents can meet the teachers and members of the Committee.
Every effort is made to foster an attitude of understanding and co-operation between parents and School.
BIg Walk 2009
It was strictly shoe leather (no fairy wings) permitted for the Parents’ Association’s annual BIG WALK. The entire College community took to the fields and circumambulated the Cricket Oval ovewr and over again. Pledged monies are still coming in and to date some R125 000 has been raised.
